Position: Marketing Coordinator

Job Description:

Community Bank of the Bay is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to reimagine the Bank's branding and marketing programs from the ground up. Candidates should have the vision for brand development and the abilities to communicate the resulting core messaging across all platforms. The Marketing Coordinator will lead the design and development of all marketing campaigns, including product and services pieces, print and digital advertising and social media networking, as well as manage all client and shareholder communications and events.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and managing the overall plan for marketing, communications, social networking and media outreach.
  • Developing and implementing organizational rebranding in partnership with executive management.
  • Developing an integrated marketing program to enhance Community Bank of the Bay's profile with its target audience of small to mid-sized local businesses and non-profit organizations, especially those in the environmental and socially conscious spheres.
  • Developing and managing all digital marketing, including website, social media activity and search engine optimization.
  • Writing, designing and distributing e-newsletters and other shareholder communications.
  • Creating and implementing a news media strategy to maximize coverage of Community Bank of the Bay in traditional and online media
  • Serving as main point of contact for all media relations and coordinate staff involvement with reporters
  • Monitoring coverage of Community Bank of the Bay and produce reports and analysis on coverage and impact for Executive Management
  • Coordinating up to four major shareholder and client events per year.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • 2-5 years experience in Marketing or Public Relations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize competing projects.
  • Passion for telling a good story in creative ways.
  • Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven, fast paced environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.). Knowledge of HTML and Adobe Creative Suites a plus.

Responsibilities:
